I’d love to introduce my author friend, Lynn Slaughter. Lynn is an award-winning YA author and President of the writing group Derby Rotten Scoundrels, the Ohio Valley Chapter of the national group, Sisters In Crime.

LYNDA: Lynn, I’m so happy to feature your latest adventures in literature at my site. What’s going on in your literary world?

LYNDA: How exciting! So, tell us more about your new book.

LYNN: When Sam’s wealthy mom gets engaged to a younger man whose last heiress wife mysteriously died, Sam is appalled. And then Sam’s life implodes. Her mom’s fiancé turns up dead, and a mountain of circumstantial evidence points to Sam as the killer. On trial for murder, she fights to prove her innocence with the help of her boyfriend’s dad, an ex-homicide cop.

LYNDA: I understand you’ve been in great demand lately Tell us what else you’re up to.

LYNN: I’m looking forward to being one of the guest authors who’ll be reading at: “Voice & Vision: Presented by Spalding’s School of Writing, The Louisville Review & 21c Museum Hotel.” The in-person reading event will take place 6:00-7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 21, at 21c Museum Hotel in downtown Louisville.
