SETTINGS AND CHARACTERS
Settings will vary in my novels. I was born the daughter of a coal miner and granddaughter of a Cherokee Indian. I lived in the Appalachian Mountains, running barefoot in the woods and loving every minute of it.
What a childhood I had! We moved to the Cincinnati area when I was in grade school. I grew up in Northern Kentucky during a time when Newport was a mecca for prostitution and gambling, with a heavy mob influence.
An AP wire photo, from the Kentucky State Police prior to a raid in 1951.
During my years in Marketing and Logistics at Procter & Gamble, I had the opportunity to travel the world, spend time in exotic places and make friends with people from many cultures.
Living on a horse farm in Kentucky, I am involved in equestrian activities, trail riding and racing. All of this variety provides unique settings for my characters to explore the Dangerous Mystery of Love.
Ideas for my novels come from everywhere. I travel as often as possible, fish, swim, read and enjoy movies. My world is full of unique people with interesting personalities and quirks, providing stimulating fodder for my tales.
