Some bonds can’t be broken by time and distance.

Navy Seal reunites with cowgirl biker accused of murder.

OPERATION SECOND CHANCE

BY AWARD WINNING AUTHOR, LYNDA REES

Scrawny, nerdy Dex Strong committed his life and exceptional intellect to service as a Navy Seal. Motorcycling, horseback-riding, security guard mother and widow, Zoe Waters is comfortable in her world. Misfit pals, now dynamic adults reunite through tragedy. Friendship morphs into love and puts Zoe in a killer’s cross hairs.

Zoe never fit in with uppity, designer-clad students. The unique, jean-clad farm girl proudly wears scuffed cowboy boots and spends time with her brainy best friend, Dex. Boys admire and are intimidated by her, but she’s unaware. A dorky nerd and a redneck are inseparable.

Dex is destined for greatness. Zoe wants a family and home in Sweetwater. She’s only hold Dex back. She hates hurting him but forces a clean break to prevent ruining his future.

Years later Zoe is suspected of murder, and Dex has transformed into a sexy, confident and accomplished Navy Seal. Sparks are stronger than ever, but their reconciliation incites a killer to target Zoe.

♥  This is an Awesome book💞

2nd chances are my favorite trope and this one had my heart bleeding with the distrust that was developed during her 1st marriage…anger, hurt, murder and mayhem all follow the death of her husband. Can Zoe trust that Gabe (her first love) will not break her heart and can Gabe get to her in time to save her? ❤❤❤ I volunteered an honest opinion for this book. Nancy Kehl, Super Fan
